What I'm looking for in a Crit Partner
I'm looking for someone who is willing to swap full manuscripts. I need someone who can help me tighten up the language so I'm not repeating myself or driving the point home over and over.
I prefer to edit chunks because I can get a better feel for the story and the voice. I want someone who is serious and committed and not someone who has my manuscript for eight weeks and then I get it back with three comments and sorry, i couldn't do more b/c I didn't have much time. I'm open to having several crit partners. I'm a pretty fast reader but editing def slows me down. I like most genres.
