About Me

Hi, thanks for visiting my profile page. My name is Susan B., I'm a married, 36yo mother of one, and I work at home at a sewing business.

Kathleen, this network's creator, has been my crit partner for well over a year now, and we've both learned a lot from each other. We often refer to each other as Kettle (Kathleen) and Pot (me) due to the constant necessity of telling each other not to make the writing mistakes we ourselves make all the time. I hope some of you here find great working relationships as well.

I've read a lot of romance, particularly romantic suspense, and have written a bit. I am available to look over short pieces if you're looking for a serious critique and not ego-stroking, and I'm also willing to do the occasional beta read. Romance only, please. I'm afraid I don't like or understand other genres enough to provide good critique beyond proofreading.

My current project involves superheroes. If you've got a knowledge of comics and could help me get started with reading suggestions and/or your thoughts on heroes and villains, I would love some pointers.

LOL - De Nada. If you have any questions, leave a comment or e-mail me at soharden@swbell.net. My cool factor rose in my eight-year-old son's eyes this summer when he finally realized how large my collection was.

Best wishes on your project!

Superheroes, eh? Well my first suggestion would b not to read too many comics - most of them are cliched, stock-standard heroes and villains. You've seen the movie; well, the comics are pretty much the same. Make them up how you want them to be.
