Ahhh. So late... but must... reply...

my MSN is kristina_horses11@hotmail.com (we don't talk about the lameness of my msn) and my email/gtalk is usullusa@gmail.com

I prefer googletalk, which is built into gmail, if at all possible.

And yes, I too am doing the World Building event. I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum, it's just letting me wander off track. Which is interesting and fun, but not helpful.

Awesome! I have MSN (necrovirale@live.com), and my email is saintknowall@gmail.com. Looking forward to finding out more about your projects and maybe reading some of your writing. :D

And yep, I'm participating in Eliza's Worldbuilding event. It's been giving me a lot of focus so far. Are you in it, too?

Hi Kat,

I'm another character-driven, urban fantasy fan, and I love babbling about writing ideas and the like. Interested in talking further or exchanging work for a sample critique?

Profile Information

Your writer's blog or website:
http://storytellingofravens.wordpress.com
What is your genre?
Urban fantasy, Fantasy of Manners (Mannerpunk), elfpunk (In the spirit of the Bordertown anthologies), mythic fiction, and basically lots of mutations of the fantasy genre. Most of my writing can be categorized as multiple genres at once.
What do you write?
novels, short stories
Are you a pantser, a plotter, or a hybrid?
pantser
What is your current project?
A joint writing project with a friend which is currently bogged down in our inability to agree on anything without arguing about it for three hours only to realize we were both saying the same thing anyway.
Also several personal projects that are sitting around waiting for me to pick them back up again.
I'm looking for a CP who
wants to swap full drafts just for critique, is willing to swap chapters as we go
How long have you been writing?
Eight years.
Published or Aspiring?
aspiring
What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?
Complex character relationships/interactions.
What do you feel is your greatest weakness as a writer?
Coming up with a coherent start to finish plot on my own. I usually need somebody to talk to about it for weeks if not months until something evolves over time. Almost all of my plots are character-driven, which I don't mind because that's the sort of thing I like to read.
Do you have any specialized knowledge in some field?
I know quite a bit about mythology and folklore- I'm studying it in college. I word for a YA literary agency, so I have on the job experience judging full manuscripts and providing authors with crits.
Age
19
Where are you from?
Depends on what time scale. I'm from Russia orignally, more recently I'm from Connecticut. I like in NYC now.
Looking for a CP or Taken?
looking
