Michelle said… - Yah, 50k is very short for a novel . At least you finished though , I still have a good 30k to go before I could even think about ending my NaNo story .

mark n. mccann said… - I simply cannot get an agent for What Little Girls Are Made Of (22 no-thank-you's and counting--trying to do the final edit it through Novels-L list serve; some good, some bad, and bull my way through my sci fi thing: I'm at 85% done (start, ending and I need to finish a couple of intermediate chapters). Once completed with that I'll start the agent hunt for that piece and start a rewrite of an older novella I've completed.

- I write a lot of romance, mainly contemporary. I am interested in publishing interracial contemporary. I would love to be published in paranormal romance and urban fantasy but I haven't written a lot of this yet. I am also interested in historical romance.

- I work on different projects simultaneously. I am closest to publishing an interracial romance set on a ranch. I definitely could use another eye to look at it.

- Editing stage.

- wants to swap full drafts just for critique, is willing to swap chapters as we go, who will be there from the ground up on a project

- I found my writing soul at the age of 22, so about 13 years

- What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?
- I have a passion for the written word. I have read a lot of writing and done a lot of writing in various forms. I defintely think that the more I write, the better I get.
- What do you feel is your greatest weakness as a writer?
- The ability to see a project through from the writing part to editing and trying to get it published.
- Do you have any specialized knowledge in some field?
- I am a veterinarian so I have a good background in the biological sciences. I am also a history buff and mythology and folklore-lover. My mother calls me a scholar in those areas, but I wouldn't go that far.
