Plotting.

I'm a former copy editor, so my grammar is very strong. I also have specialized knowledge of historical costume, especially the late Victorian period, as well arcane items such as Regency and Victorian ballroom dance and the Southern California punk scene in the early '80s.

Well, a gal I used to work with (also a copy editor) still emails me with particularly thorny grammar questions whenever she gets in an argument with one of her editors. Apparently citing me is enough to get them to shut up. ;-)
I love the Regency period. I haven't read any newer Regency romances, but I've read every Jane Austen novel multiple times, as well as most of Georgette Heyer's works. And I used to teach Regency dancing and make Regency costumes!
