Fire up your writing

Hi everyone! I'm new on this site. Anyway, I'm working on a 50,000 word fantasy novel. I recently submitted it to a publisher but they asked for revisions so I'm in the process of editing the story. It's about a young girl who is accepted into a school for fairies and she needs to learn to fly and work fairy magic. I'm not entirely comfortable swapping entire manuscripts and I would like to swap one chapter at a time (although the manuscript is done). I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this request. Please tell me if I'm not in the correct place.

As for me, I'm a second year student in medical school. I went to Cornell University and I sometimes write for 8asians.com (trying to make it as a humor blogger). I've never done this before but I will try my best to be a good CP and hopefully I'll pick it up fast.

50k is a little short for even a YA (they tend to go from about 60-75k from my understanding). Is it YA or Middle-Grade?

I can take a look at the first chapter (or first five thousand words)-- why don't you end it to benaphorne at gmail? Any format except for a .docx will do.
