A Novel Club

I belong to a group like this on another site and it seems to work out very well. Novels that are ready for a crit go into a queue (you get to place a novel into the queue once you crit a novel) The novels are not placed onto a forum, but emailed to those that want to read it. There's a 3 timelimit to read crit and then post the crit to a forum.
If the group is five to ten people, then you get more then just one point of view on the novel. The group could be opened to any genre. If this idea does go through and we have a large group, passing on a novel in a genre you don't read won't be a problem.

you could still join, build up points for when you do have a novel ready. :) if there is a large group intereted it'll take a while to get through the queue of books.

How far are you into your currenet novel?

26K or ~1/3 way in. What scares me is that I'm on Chapter 32!

I'm currently editing it and doing something which will help me later.

I would be interested in this too. I'm co-authoring a novel right now. It's still in first draft and uncompleted.

I was thinking 3 to 4 months for one novel. It would mater how long the novel was to decide on the length.
